Headaches and migraines
Persistent pain or migraine-like symptoms
Whether you have just had a concussion or experience long-term symptoms , we offer a customized treatment plan and guide you from start to finish. Do you want to know if we can help you?

The consequences of a concussion vary from person to person and can include headache, dizziness, nausea, difficulty concentrating and tiredness.
Because everyone recovers differently, we build treatment around you as a whole, not just on your symptoms. An individual treatment plan therefore forms the basis of your treatment plan.
We always tailor the treatment to you. A typical process looks like this:

An extensive start session for intake, analysis and measuring your complaints, so we can draw up a treatment plan that matches your situation

One session per week for the first three weeks, with direct chat contact between sessions with your personal specialist

Thereafter: one session every two weeks, depending on progress, with direct chat contact in between sessions with your personal specialist
Read how others experienced their recovery with Hemi.
“It was a huge help that I was able to get an appointment in the same week and didn't need a referral. My experience at Hemi was absolutely fantastic and talking to the specialist felt both personal and professional.”
“I was in good hands with specialists who really understood my situation. Thanks to the digital solution, help was always at your fingertips.”
“Online treatment has worked surprisingly well. It was really ideal to be able to sit at home and thus avoid both waiting times and driving back and forth. Especially on days when my head feels heavy.”
“Today, I feel like I'm 90% myself and I can work as well as be a dad again. I wish I had found Hemi earlier.”
Our approach combines the latest scientific insights with personal guidance. We work with, among others:

Gradually build up your activities, tailored to where you are now. Together, we'll learn how to work in your development zone. It's about doing enough to move forward without crossing your borders. This way, you can rebuild your resilience in a safe and controlled way.

Gradual exposure to triggers such as screen use, light, sound, and movement to build tolerance without relapse. We build up the exposure step by step, so that your nervous system has time to adjust without being overloaded.

Preventing the boom-bust pattern through small, sustainable steps and conscious activity dosing. Instead of doing too much on good days and not enough on bad days, you'll learn to maintain a stable and predictable level of activity that suits your recovery.

Psychoeducation and coping with practical tools inspired by metacognitive therapy and ACT. You learn to understand how thoughts and behavior influence your recovery, and get concrete strategies to better deal with this in daily life.

Energy management with attention to sleep, breaks and a stable daily routine. Together, we'll look at what your day looks like and where energy is leaking, so you can make conscious choices that support, rather than hamper, your recovery.

Practical strategies for screen use, light and sound, structure and pace in work or study. We'll help you make a realistic plan for returning to your daily activities, tailored to what your head can handle at that moment.

Progress measurement with validated questionnaires, so that treatment can be continuously adjusted. By regularly measuring and evaluating how you feel, we can see together what works and where there is still room for improvement — based on data, not just by feeling.

A weekly plan with fitness training and strategies for screen use, light and breaks.

Chat contact between sessions for quick answers and minor adjustments.

One permanent specialist, trained as a physiotherapist specializing in concussion and pain.

Video sessions, so your energy goes to recovery and not to the road.

Based on your main symptoms, we focus treatment on your biggest challenge. Often, the most important symptom or challenge falls into one of the following seven categories:
No, we do not prescribe medication. In some cases, we recommend that you talk to your doctor about medication.
The waiting time is currently 2-3 weeks.
See information under prices and fees. Here you can also read about insurance and employer coverage.
We have no contracts with health insurers and are therefore covered by uncontracted care. Depending on your policy and insurance, you may sometimes be reimbursed for part of the costs.
You can submit an application for reimbursement. Contact us for more information.
Unfortunately, that is not possible; our treatment is completely digital via video, chat and home assignments.
There are two reasons for this. The main reason is that our physical therapists are also trained in pain therapy and rehabilitation. They have extensive experience and work at a high specialist level. The second reason is that our sessions last longer than a standard physical therapy session, and we also offer free chat guidance between sessions to make minor adjustments and answer questions.
Make an appointment for a free conversation and take the first steps towards fewer complaints including pain.
