How to prepare for your first appointment
Your first appointment lasts sixty minutes. With a little preparation, we can get more out of it together.
1. Complete the questions in advance
The most important thing you can do beforehand is to complete the questionnaire.
This way, your therapist will already know a thing or two before you speak, allowing you to spend your time together on the right things.
If you also keep a symptom diary in the app, it provides an even clearer picture of your symptoms and what triggers them. This is not a requirement for your first appointment.

2. Get ready for the video call
You will receive a link in advance. Just click it, and the rest is self-explanatory. For a smooth conversation, it helps if you:
- A quiet place Find a place where you can talk without being disturbed
- Have a stable internet connection, so that we can hear and see you clearly
- Not with your back Are not sitting with your back to a window or a lamp
- Have some space around you, in case we ask you to move or show us something

3. List your questions
Write down what you definitely want to discuss. Think about your symptoms, what you have tried before, and what you hope to get out of the treatment. Here is what happens during your first appointment. You will speak with a physical therapist who specializes in concussions and whiplash. They will:
- Going over your answers from the questionnaire
- Listening to your story and asking follow-up questions to understand your situation
- Determining the first steps of a treatment plan that works for you, together with you
Any questions beforehand? Feel free to call or email us. We look forward to speaking with you.
